I tried to add a poll to my blog. There are pretty many plugins for wordpress. However, many of them are not so easy to use, and not straight forward to me. Some are easy to use, but my web host does not allow to use for security purpose.
Finally, I ran into polldaddy, which provides professional surveys and polls online. Easy to use and flexible to customize.
1. Sign up for a free account.
polldaddy provides three kinds of account: free, pro and corporate.

If you don’t have very high demands on the polls and surveys, the free account is enough.
2. Create your poll.
Sign in with your account, and create your first poll by just one click. enter your question, answers.

3. Customize your poll.
select a background, the width of your layout, and when to expire the poll etc. some customizations at your choice.

4. Embed your poll into your post.
After creating the poll, you will get the link to your poll. copy the embed link, and past it to your blog. note: copy the javascript link, which is most common for blogs.

5. View the result. and don’t forget to give your answer
