Corporattica Theme: Version 0.2

First of all, thank you all like this theme. And I also received a lot emails complaining that this theme is not so friendly to wordpress plugins. There are thousands of plugins in the wordpress community, and most of them are very helpful to the wordpress users. So a rule of thumb for a good wordpress theme should be plugin friendly besides the design (of course, design is also the major rule to choose a theme).

In the new version, i fixed this significant issue by including the wp_head() call in the header.php. Besides this, the issues mentioned in the prior blogs like (more…)

Corporattica Theme: Can’t Send Email Bug Fixed

A Corporattica user reported that the contact form is broken, as he cannot send messages. This is a bug in the js code.

To fix this bug:

1. Just download the theme again, I have already uploaded the fixed version. Replace the theme files with the latest files.

2. You can also fix it by yourself follow the steps:

$.post(theme_template_dir+"/send_email.php", $("#contacts").serialize(),function(result){

	 $('#send_message').remove();

A new wordpress theme is coming soon, please stay tuned.

The new wordpress is good for portfolio sites, as well as small business.

I got the inspiration from Smashing Magazine it provides a great collection of typographic template for web designers.

I will be on vocation for a week, so after the vocation the theme will be published here. This theme will have two versions, free version and premium version. the main difference between the two versions is like, the premium version will have multiple color styles.

Sorry for the Downtime

Sorry for the inconvenient. My website was down for almost 16 hours for the past day.

I was using freehostia for web hosting, and their chocolate program is free. For the past two months, it did pretty well. The service is really easy to use. However my account was suspended yesterday without any notificaiton. And they did not even send me an email. I am not sure why it is suspended, I wrote to them, but no response in the past 24 hours.

The server downtime is really a sever disaster to a website. I cannot wait any more for freehostia to resolve, so i transferred to Byethost. However, i did not backup the database last week. Some of my posts are lost.

Sorry for the inconvenient. I still hope to get the data back from freehostia. Do you know how to contact them? If you could give me some advices, i will really appreciate. Also remind everyone to backup your website daily.
